Can I get a paper copy of the application form?

Of course, but it's worth bearing in mind that your application will be received and processed much faster if you apply online. However, if you'd like us to send you an application form, simply email our HR Administration Team at recruitment@ybs.co.uk

Do I have to be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply?

In order to work for Chelsea Building Society, you must currently have the legal right to work in the UK. If you require a Visa or Work Permit to work in the UK, this must be valid for at least 12 months from the day you apply.

Please be advised that due to changes in the law, should your application be successful, you'll be required to bring specific documentation to your interview to prove your eligibility to work in the UK.

What provisions do you make for candidates with disabilities?

At Chelsea Building Society, we carry the 'Positive about Disabled People' badge with honour. And we respect the five commitments, making sure all applicants are judged on their ability and nothing else. If you're successful in your application, you'll be asked prior to interview whether you require any special adjustments to be made. Is there an upper age limit to applications?

Not at all, we encourage applications from all age groups.

Will I be working for Chelsea Building Society or Yorkshire Building Society?

Your contract will state that you will work for the Yorkshire Building Society.
